AgriFORCE Growing Systems—a Vancouver company focused on an integrated agricultural technology platform—was granted a new U.S. patent for its automated growing systems.
The patent, U.S. Patent #11,997,962 B2, covers the use of conveyor belts and other mechanisms to move production lines of vegetation or flowering plants within a growing facility. This technology is expected to be integrated into AgriFORCE's current indoor growing solutions, potentially improving efficiency and output for farmers and agribusinesses.
“This patent adds dynamic value to our ever-expanding portfolio of patented technology aimed at innovating agribusiness,” AgriFORCE’s Executive Turnaround Consultant Jolie Kahn said. “We remain committed to exploring new opportunities to empower farmers and agribusinesses to maximize their market position and build long-term shareholder value for our stakeholders.”
Although the company’s overall goal is to provide sustainable solutions for producing nutritious food worldwide, this new patent aims to enhance their existing capabilities in indoor farming.
